  1. Hello, Anyone interested in modelling the RhB will be interested by the New Item News from the company Stadt im Modell. Stations and hotels (including The Grischuna), from Filisur and Wiesen; as well as The Landwasser and Wiesen Viaducts are to be produced !!! (Lazer cut kits). Also other buildings from these localities including the turntable at Filisur !! See :- [www.stadtimmodell.de] Standard gauge modern image modellers are also catered for with a model of the new Hamburg S-Bahn BR490 class electric units. Regards Dick Carter
  2. I stand my original post, the flag was incorrect, the rule is :- Flat Against a Surface Union Flag - If hung horizontally or vertically, the broad white diagonal should be uppermost in the top-left corner. I had noticed the flag at the front of the building but thought to comment on that would be nit picking !! A large Union Jack on the front of a layout exhibited abroad is a different matter. But otherwise a very interesting layout, I've seen it a couple of times. Incidentally I was not at Eurospoor this year, I saw the layout and the flag on You Tube coverage. Regards
  3. Lime Street Station at Eurospoor, Utrecht. I am sure it was much admired. A great pity though they could not not display the large Union Jack on the front of the stand correctly !! Regards
  4. Excellent 'downsized' exhibition by the Chatham Club; 2 friends and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Several layouts in various gauges to please the British Railway fans, but for us it was 'Mouville' (HOe) and 'Tombroeekstraat' (HOm), visiting from Europe that stole the show. Closely followed by the US layout 'Mauch Chunk' (HO), which was so different in being Central Railroad of New Jersey, first time I've ever seen that modelled, and I've been to many specialist American themed exhibitions. Really worth seeing, I hope the group from Barrowmore feel the long journey 'south' was worth the effort; my friends and I certainly enjoyed seeing their exhibit. Several other layouts very close behind these, Tidworth (OO) and Vereina (HOm) to name but two. Quality all around in a pleasant venue and the catering was excellent with 'proper' bacon rolls, always well received !!. An enjoyable visit, we shall return. Thank you to all concerned.
