I thought you might be interested to see my N gauge version of the station building at Eyemouth. No glazing until it is painted; I presume your colour scheme is authentic. Also do you have any detailed information on the large house at the end of the yard? The porch facing the station yard appears to be on the first floor level, photos seem to indicate that there was a retaining wall between the approach to this and the lower garden. Even using Google Earth, it is unclear if this is still the case to date.

I have modelled in N gauge and exhibited my layouts for many years and have recently been searching for a small project. Thinking about possibilities in my native NE, I was drawn further up the coast when I discovered Eyemouth. Having discovered various bits of information on the Internet, I had got as far as drawing up a track plan, modified from the real location, and giving it the name Ayemouth. Then I discovered your layout on the RM website!
I would still like to continue with the project despite the similarity of adding a headshunt to allow more than one engine in operation, and amending the name as you have done. However, I would like to have your approval as I may well also exhibit the layout when finished. Do you have any objection?
