    just a thought ( and before i say this id like to say that i am sure what i am going to suggest is highly dangerous and should not be done unless outside , in a gale , with full ppe and breathing gear ......) iv used something similar to your gutter guard before , i found that it could be molded with a hot air gun (paint stripper type ) a quick douse in a bucket of water seemed to fix it into what ever shape id wanted to make (shuts up and sits in corner tin hat on awaiting the hse police ........
