    Football is done for a few months - yay.

     

    But now it's cricket season.

      Cricket is ok*, long periods of relaxation with a book and a cool drink, interspersed by brief periods of excitement.

       

       

      * So long as you're not a participant. There's nothing more frightening than A. being a batsman facing an aggressive bowler or B. being at any of the close fielding positions in front of the batsman. I DO NOT like seeing hard red** oncoming projectiles!  You'd think being a scorer would be ok, but then you have to keep alert throughout the innings.....

       

      ** Or whatever farcical colour has been chosen by the promotors of the series.
