    fantastic. Pigeon hit into front left headlight of the Volvo. Imagined carnage, glass everywhere, etc etc - nope, pigeon is actually alive and stuck in the radiator grill at the front. Pushed poor thing out and carried on my merry way!

      You both got away with that! I had a Volvo v. Pigeon incident. Bird disappeared in a cloud of feathers, and I ended up with a £130.00 bill for a new headlight fitting!

      Fortunately all that happened was a bent front numberplate, and a fog light off its mountings. When I got out of the car, the deer was nowhere to be seen. Maybe it had bounced off the front airdam?
