Going to do my first round of soldering a chassis tonight - EVER. Will watch Tony Wright's DVD later on to mentally prepare. In the words of Jeremy Clarkson, "how hard can it be?" And I'll probably be ambitious, but rubbish, again...!

  You will do it! Just remember the mirror/glass to stand the chassis on and use some sort of jig for squareness.

  Just take it slowly, check squareness as you go along and you'll be fine.
