Agree above image E & GR No 88 acquired NBR 1865 and allocated No 312 & later rebuilt as inspection saloon known as "The Cab" No 1079 if my memory hasn't failed me

Aware had moved there, with coach & possibly Great Marquis and as I’m staying up the road rather fancied seeing her.
 

Rather explains why web search drew a blank. 

Unless missing a trick can’t find details on-line regarding Balbuthie Visitor Centre. 
 

Hoped to visit of old times sake as saw her many times including at Crail en-route to Lochty

I’ll look for you. The journal did look at early days of Waverley, early coaches & guess something there.

It was quite a sight as my Grandmothers house was on Wellesley Road, opposite the Randolph Wemyss Hospital.  Remember the WPR locomotives and even recall the first rig that left the yard had quite a send off as I was part of crowd on the day.

Quick search in NBRSG isnt helpful I'm afraid. One really early (probably earliest) image is dreadful & thus pretty useless. 

Old newspaper archives for engraving, have newspaper engraving of the train ferry at Granton in my stash.

I believe 150 is routed via Brigg & Kirton Lindsay service & only daily return passenger service on this line. 

On way to the meeting, managed to see a few more. 
 

70 was running very late. 

On way back from Immingham, took back road via Roxton Siding & only managed quick grab shot.

Healing (pretty minimalist) today around 10:30 to 11:00 

Usual pair (I think under all the gunk/crud) today 

Taken at Healing (not my usual haunt) and went through at speed still spraying. Fortunately platform was empty 

Well out of my area. Holiday in Dawlish narrows it down geographically. I/D appreciated, one opinion has Bristol & Exeter but weren’t they broad gauge?? 

When I visited Tioxide don’t ever recall black patches. Suspect above is painted to mimic a BR Iron Ore Tippler??
