Thanks - the first 1:54 are shots taken on the Meade Area Rail-Road Society (MARRS) layout. 40-1:11 were taken on the far right of my "Key Biscayne" module looking toward Hogsmeade Station that it was connected to.  A little bit better shot of Hogsmeade Station appears briefly from 8:03 - 8:22.

My video of the October train show shot with a Polaroid Cube didn't work out. It was the first time I used the new camera and all video files on the cube's MicroSD were corrupt. But a fellow club member shot a whole lot of rail-level video with a GoPro of our layout and others at the show. It is posted here:

I completed a Master of Science Degree in Cybersecurity a few weeks ago so I've been a bit pre-occupied.

I'm working on rebuilding the Hogwarts castle base modules from a pair of corners that make 180 degree turn to a set of 3 modules that make a 6' X 6' 90 degree corner. It will make it easier to transport, set up and integrate with the rest of the modular layout. So for this coming show, I'll only be taking my Key Biscayne and Hogsmeade Station modules but will be capturing the rest of the large club layout on video.

Maybe you'll come down to the Great American Train Show in Timonium, MD for one of their shows some day - I'd love to set up Hogwarts next to your incredible work.

Long time between posts - big show coming up the 25th-26th of October though. Am taking my new, professional video recording gear to try out and will post results here.

Following intently, Jaz. I just bought a static grass applicator a couple of weeks ago and have not used it yet.

I wiped the pieces with alcohol and used cyanoacrylate  (Super glue) to put them together after whittling down to a good dry fit. They have taken a lot of beatings - moving, storing and setting up from show to show and seem to be holding up very well.

It is difficult for me to remember (June 2011), though I recall scraping flash and edges with an X-Acto knife, and I know I filed to get pieces to align the way I wanted.

Indeed that is the same Langley Modles kit I bought (X2) and assembled for my Hogsmeade Station module

I'm sure I glued, but it was a couple of years ago and I don't recall the specifics of the tweaking I had to do aside from remembering that I did have to do some filing and reaming.

I had planned on using different lamps, but didn't quite get around to it.

I also bought this kit, but never got up the nerve to put it together.

Yes, I ordered and received them, but haven't worked on them yet. I have a show scheduled for Jan 31-Feb 2 (that's both Superbowl Sunday and Groundhog Day for us Yanks) and I hope to have the figures and other improvements done by then.

I have a Corgi white one I painted blue, but it looks terrible so I bashed it up and keep it obscured by the dark forest. I see that Oxford Diecast does indeed have a light blue one with white roof so I will order it.

You know I am amazed and humbled by your & Kal's modelling as well as Mr. and Mrs. Sasquatch's artistry and craftmanship,  but have you stumbled across this modeller's work yet? He created a Goathland Station diorama 6 or 7 years ago that inspired me.
