Screw in crankpins, common head size with Hornby. (Possibly even made by the same supplier.) The centre axle secured by a slotted screw.

Before dismantling check from the underside to see if any of the side rods could be catching. It only needs a little bend to have a momentary snag occur while running.

Please allow clubs to follow whatever decision making and notification processes they have to go through before they are ready to make public announcements. We don't need 'any news' posts putting pressure on people to deal with individual enquiries - I had a belly full of it over the weekend with respect to Ally Pally, dealing with some people who felt they should be told before everything else was sorted out.

Very sorry you've got a belly full.

The good news is ebay is currently listing another 9 so you could have the option of owning a round number of 51 and have potential to do the whole fleet.

I was look last night for a Duke of Sutherland on eBay, but in BR livery. :(

    Mookie,

Highly impressive stuff there, you have done a fantastic job and it is clearly such a neat solution. The baseboard looks great too; you mention there are three sections that fold up - have you got a shot of the overall layout? I'm always intrigued by hinged/folding baseboards and like to see how others have gone about it. Your woodworking skills are clearly superb!! :good_mini:

    Cheers,

    David
