Some sad news circulating that 97301 is to be taken to Colwick so various useful spares can be removed prior to her being scrapped. Here at Blaenau Ffestiniog in happier days, June 2014 (courtesy of Jack Bowley). At least she’ll live on in model form. Regards, Rob

Why is it a vile practice? It's not food or medicine, it's a model train, a completely discretionary purchase. No one's life will be changed if they don't get one.
If it's priced too high, no one will buy it, if it does sell for whatever price then that's what the buyer has chosen to pay.
I'm pretty sure if the bids were going very high and you were going to rake the money in, you wouldn't end the auction early and sell for a lower price.
They are not auctions, they are buy it now prices, obviously I’m alone in thinking it’s not ok so I’ll say no more on the subject.

Dont know how many are on for inflated resale but by using the auction function you would at least not loose money and your not twisting anyones arm to buy it are you, even the spivs are just giving an option of getting a model if one missed out, you dont have to buy.
Or they could’ve just left it for sale in the first place so someone didn’t miss out. Not much of a justification for a vile practice.

What about the 12% final value fee you'll lose? Fair play though, that's a bargain for someone.
Well yes I lose a bit of money for selling it on but I strongly disapprove of the Spivs who buy them just to immediately sell them on at a profit, hopefully my sale has stopped one of them getting a sale 😂, regards Rob

Admin, please delete this if not allowed. I have surplus to my needs 56023 Coal Sector with factory fitted DCC and Sound. Absolutely as delivered and never been on the track. It will appear this evening on a well know internet auction site at what I paid, not the somewhat speculative prices asked by others, regards to all, Rob
Well that lasted all of 10 minutes before it sold lol,

They appear to have disappeared from the Key Publishing website, possibly fully subscribed now? Or website glitch? Either way I’m glad I got my order in. Regards to all, Rob

This happened to be parked up at Cambridge Station yesterday so I thought it would be rude not to take a few snaps.

Amazing news, now ordered to go with Cavalex DCR 56 plus DCR 60 on order, well done to all who made this happen, best regards, Rob

Looking at the Kernow website I see that Revolution are producing as a standard release the JNA-T in both VTG blue and silver, presumably representing what I’ve photographed in the previous post. Therefore DC Rail are using the ones that Key Publishing are doing as a (sold out) limited edition? Or can the standard release be used? Cheers Rob

A change of interior gives the Class 322 originally built for the Stansted Express, they later migrated to Manchester Airport.

Loved my 56008 so much that I've given in and grabbed a second. 56070 in blue just arrived from Ultimate Model Railways👍
I know that feeling, I ordered one and totally forgot about it until I received an email that it was in stock, I was that impressed by it that I ended up with another two 😉- 2

I finally received a reply today and they have stated they are not intending to increase the run to match demand. Any spares due to cancellations or non payments will be re-advertised on the webpage.
Such a shame as i was looking for a complete rake of around 16 wagons.
Thanks for the update, they must be doing well to turn down more business, not the news I was hoping for but hey ho, cheers Rob -

They are only 'limited' to the number Hornby Magazine want us to make.
Production hasn't started yet, so we can easily add more.
cheers

As Key Publisher’s have long sold out on pre-sale if they don’t increase their order would it be feasible for you to do a run of them with different numbers? I’m guessing that apart from us who haven’t secured any you’ll also get orders from those that have as they can extend their rakes. I suppose the success of the Cavalex 56 has fuelled extra demand.just an idea, cheers, Rob

I have also emailed them requesting that they make some more available as I have the DC Rail Class 60 reserved, anyone wanting to do the same I would suggest the email addy shop@keypublishing.com all the best, Rob

Well we've been around as long as Accurascale have (7 years, 8 since we announced our first model) but somehow always went under the radar. 🤷
i Doubt that you’re under the radar now 👍- 3

Just wondering if anyone knows of any retailers who might have 56 008 BR Blue DCC sound for sale?, many thanks Chris
Try phoning John Dutfield, he had a few sound models left when I spoke to him earlier in the week, or try Trains4U as they’ve had a few cancelled orders. Potluck at this stage. -
Would it rude to ask how many Class 56’s in total have been produced in this batch as people are questioning the state of the hobby?

Out of interest, is anyone still awaiting dispatch confirmation for any pre-ordered models or new orders placed with Rails last week?
First-world problem of course, and I know they've had loads of orders to get through. Hopefully, it won't take much longer, although it does seem to be a bit random as to who gets what when.
On a different subject, thank you to the Cavalex team for all the helpful info and prompt feedback/responses provided in this thread.
paid for another Class 56 last Thursday and not heard a thing since, paid for a third today from John Dutfield and it’s expected tomorrow, guess who gets my money next time round 😉- 1

My Gbrf twin pack just arrived. Had a Quick Look and found 081 with both bogies not in the correct place in the cradle. Not had chance to run yet so hopefully it had not been damaged as there is no way I am going to try and fix it with my fat fingers and dodgy eyes. It will be a pain to return as the box is huge and to look like the retailer had issues finding suitable packaging as well
It’s a really simple fix, if after looking you really feel you can’t do it I’m sure you can find someone who can
