  1. Some sad news circulating that 97301 is to be taken to Colwick so various useful spares can be removed prior to her being scrapped. Here at Blaenau Ffestiniog in happier days, June 2014 (courtesy of Jack Bowley). At least she’ll live on in model form. Regards, Rob
  2. They are not auctions, they are buy it now prices, obviously I’m alone in thinking it’s not ok so I’ll say no more on the subject.
  3. Or they could’ve just left it for sale in the first place so someone didn’t miss out. Not much of a justification for a vile practice.
  4. Well yes I lose a bit of money for selling it on but I strongly disapprove of the Spivs who buy them just to immediately sell them on at a profit, hopefully my sale has stopped one of them getting a sale 😂, regards Rob
  5. Well that lasted all of 10 minutes before it sold lol,
  6. They appear to have disappeared from the Key Publishing website, possibly fully subscribed now? Or website glitch? Either way I’m glad I got my order in. Regards to all, Rob
  7. Admin, please delete this if not allowed. I have surplus to my needs 56023 Coal Sector with factory fitted DCC and Sound. Absolutely as delivered and never been on the track. It will appear this evening on a well know internet auction site at what I paid, not the somewhat speculative prices asked by others, regards to all, Rob
  8. This happened to be parked up at Cambridge Station yesterday so I thought it would be rude not to take a few snaps.
  9. Amazing news, now ordered to go with Cavalex DCR 56 plus DCR 60 on order, well done to all who made this happen, best regards, Rob
  10. Looking at the Kernow website I see that Revolution are producing as a standard release the JNA-T in both VTG blue and silver, presumably representing what I’ve photographed in the previous post. Therefore DC Rail are using the ones that Key Publishing are doing as a (sold out) limited edition? Or can the standard release be used? Cheers Rob
  11. A change of interior gives the Class 322 originally built for the Stansted Express, they later migrated to Manchester Airport.
  12. I know that feeling, I ordered one and totally forgot about it until I received an email that it was in stock, I was that impressed by it that I ended up with another two 😉
  13. A little prototype inspiration at Cambridge Station today 29/02/24
  14. A little bit of inspiration, taken a couple of day’s ago at Aylesbury. Posted here with the kind permission of Nicholas J Dalton
  15. If you search back through this thread you’ll find what you need, pages 58 and 59
  16. Thanks for the update, they must be doing well to turn down more business, not the news I was hoping for but hey ho, cheers Rob
  17. As Key Publisher’s have long sold out on pre-sale if they don’t increase their order would it be feasible for you to do a run of them with different numbers? I’m guessing that apart from us who haven’t secured any you’ll also get orders from those that have as they can extend their rakes. I suppose the success of the Cavalex 56 has fuelled extra demand. just an idea, cheers, Rob
  18. I have also emailed them requesting that they make some more available as I have the DC Rail Class 60 reserved, anyone wanting to do the same I would suggest the email addy shop@keypublishing.com all the best, Rob
  19. i Doubt that you’re under the radar now 👍
  20. Try phoning John Dutfield, he had a few sound models left when I spoke to him earlier in the week, or try Trains4U as they’ve had a few cancelled orders. Potluck at this stage.
  21. Would it rude to ask how many Class 56’s in total have been produced in this batch as people are questioning the state of the hobby?
  22. paid for another Class 56 last Thursday and not heard a thing since, paid for a third today from John Dutfield and it’s expected tomorrow, guess who gets my money next time round 😉
  23. It’s a really simple fix, if after looking you really feel you can’t do it I’m sure you can find someone who can
  24. Rolls Royce used to describe their car bhp as being “adequate”, when they introduced the Bentley Mulsanne Turbo it’s bhp was described as being “more than adequate” I rather think that sums up the Cavalex 56.
