Hi Simon It’s cellulose matched to Precission Midland Chrimson Lake The lining is humbrol 69 with som red and a touch of green added to give darker yellow which I think sits well. -

It’s basically a 50/50 mix of deep bronze green and GWR chocolate brown. These two colours mixed together were identical to swatch li borrowed from Paul Moore which came via the NBR society. -

Hi all Just to clarify, I no longer do the weathering for Tower other than when I paint a loco or coach for them which I still do. The weathering service has always been a basic job, but at £25 really does represent good value. Cheers Warren

I have been lucky enough to paint models by all 3 Gents mentioned and also Dikitriki. There work is fantastic, but looking st your build Peter it is in the same league, and your in West Yorks so that's an even bigger plus :-) -

It's cellulose deep Brunswick green. The NRM have painted 737 in that colour and as it's a model of the preserved loco well......... -

The Derby Line, Four Track LNER J6

I can answer that, the loco was supplied for painting without wheels or rods. The cylinders are on so these were painted gloss black and the rest of the chasis a dirty dark grey brown. The valve gear was on and as this model is the be weathered I didn't bother with masking or scraping so they are in the same dirty colour as the rest of the chasis. Once Martyn has worked his magic they will look like dirty oily rods -
