Anything that moves on the ground or in the air! Main interest is steam railways, an enthusiast not a fanatic, I accept diesels as a fact-of-life not life threatening! Have in the past raced classic motorcycles, had a go at rallying and held, now lapsed due to cost, a PPL and glider pilot's licence. Now retired having survived the last of my 49 years in the rat race! nvovled with U3A (University of the 3rd Age i.e anyone over 55 not in full time employment) Railway Studies Group and a few others, Volunteer Museum Steward at the Bluebell Railway and new member of a local Shed, a workshop for people of all ages,abilities, able bodied or otherwise (basically somewhere to go where they have equipment you may not have, skills like woodworking to help those, like me, who have none and somewhere to solve the World's problems over a cup of tea or coffee!)
