Virgin where very good at keeping us updated on what was happening. I understand there are regulations, I know quite a few drivers through YouTube, meeting them at stations etc so I can understand. Just it was blimmin annoying being stuck in the door compartment standing for 6 hours

Swifty - Virgin are normally quite good with customer complaints - some family members have in the past obtained vouchers for new tickets for future journeys - if you haven't already done so, it might be worth your while putting in a complaint?

This was a good couple of years ago and they gave us plenty of drinks and food during the journey and gave us a discount for the return home journey

I rate virgin highly and think they should keep west coast as how on earth Worst frump one I will need know, they have Worst late Western which isn't exactly doing well and the worst operating TOC to date, Worst Crapital Disconnect who are so bad they have had there franchise shortened!
