  1. Reading Station taken on my Olympus trip 35
  2. Some shots from the US of A: Somewhere between Phoenix and the Grand Canyon, I nearly got the car stuck in snow as I pulled over to take the picture! A "plinthed" loco at the Grand Canyon. 3 truck shay locomotive at the Sugar Pine Railroad in Yosemite Valley.
  3. These are all photos taken with my large format (5x4") camera. I develop my own negatives and these are all taken on Ilford HP5+ film. I had some issues with flare in the first shot, but that's the price to pay for using old lenses! They were all taken at Didcot Railway Centre. The 3rd shot is one of my workmates riveting a new backplate into a boiler and it's the closest I've yet got to action photography with this camera! The last shot of the connecting rod is using the greatest amount of movement possible with this camera to try and keep all of the rod in focus or near focus at least.
  4. One of my workmates annealing part of a boiler.
  5. 4144 after it's very first steaming in the frames earlier this year.
  6. The (relatively) newly rebuilt Reading station taken from a Piper PA28-161 Warrior II.
  7. NZR Ja 1271 at Whanganui in 2013
  8. Taken at Didcot Railway Centre, 5900 and 6106 with the coaling stage in the background.
