      If you are meaning on a curve, then if you put enough sides on then there won't be ridges (or only very slight ridges at that)

      It depends what material you use and how good the designer is, also you get the satisfaction of having designed it and customized it and if you get it printed as a kit then building it as well.

  17. I've just drawn out two perfect bevel gears for my 16xx's motor and wheels and then realised that there is no reduction as it is 1:1 which when I put it into the speed calculator program I have results in a top speed of 2357mph - D'oh

      I've changed it now to include some more teeth and some plain cogs so it's down to 276.

  19. Won an award for best exhibit at the Bangor North down exhibition and was awarded it by the mayor himself.
