  1. Hello Edward, No, the chassis used on the Hornby Smokey Joe is far too large to be used for any of my kits, I am afraid. Thank you and Merry Christmas, Adam.
  2. I'm afraid that I do not currently supply the chassis, however, the models, considering todays prices, are inexpensive.
  3. Hello Mike, Yes, the 18" Bagnal is still next in line, but is release date is till TBA. Thank you.
  4. I'm pleased to inform you all that the new Barclay 18" 0-6-0t wish sloping side tanks, is now available and priced at £35 each. This kit can now be purchased through ebay, or you can make an order direct from myself at arcmodels@fsmail.net 00 gauge 4mm scale, this easy to build resin body kit is designed to fit onto the Electrotren 0-6-0st chassis. 5. Samples of the new Barclay 18" 0-6-0t with sloping side tanks have been received, and as these have passed, the first batch is expected within the next few weeks. Priced at £35, this kit is designed to fit onto the Electrotren 0-6-0st chassis. Features are; Separate buffers, front & rear frame extensions to eliminate any gaps, moulded on coupling hoops (to replace those on the chassis, which cannot be extended due to the more accurate length of the kit body), front footsteps can be fitted either in front or behind the cylinders, full depth coal bunker, enhanced boiler-backhead detail and separate handbrake column.
  6. Hi Paul, The 18" Barclay kit is now in production, but you are close in that there were delays which is a shame as I'd had hoped to have this released back in September, and now being November it is quite frustrating when deadlines slips, and by so much. Just keep an eye on both here and Facebook for when this kit is released. Thank you.
  7. I would liked to have produced a kit of this particular loco, however, due to the lack of availability of the Bachmann Thomas range models in this country, I will not be continuing any of the previous Hawthorns or be producing any more. But, if the Bachmann Thomas range does become readily available, then I will gladly produce a kit of this prototype.
  8. Yes, I am aiming to produce some diesel outline kits, such as the 'Planet' class, but I am open to all suggestions
  9. I'm please to announce, that the Barclay 9" is now available and priced at £30.00 The kit has some new cab features, it now comes with both round and oval spectacles, and also open & enclosed cab rear.
  10. I can now confirm the cost of the Barclay 18" 0-6-0t with sloping side tanks, this will be priced at £35 To all those wondering about the Bagnall 0-6-0st, this will still be produced, however, its place will be second to the Barclay 0-6-0t. And about the scale, yes, this model will be scale length, unlike the RS&H 0-6-0t. This means that the original coupling of the Electrotren chassis cannot be used, but not to worry, as there will be means to attach the coupling. Thank you.
  11. I am pleased to announce a new kit in my range and to be released within the coming months: 'Barclay 18" 0-6-0t with sloping side tanks' As with the RS&H 0-6-0t kit, this kit will also use the Electrotren 0-6-0st chassis And due to the upcoming release, I am pleased to inform you that I can take pre-orders for this kit, please email me at arcmodels@fsmail.net to request the pre-order form. 17. Hello Gordon, The RS&H 0-6-0t requires the Electrotren 0-6-0t and/or 0-6-0st chassis, both are appropriate as ballast will be required for that all too important traction as slow speed. Thank you.
  18. With the completion of stage one of my upcoming kit, the RS&H 0-6-0t, I am pleased to announce my next kit, the Bagnall 16" 0-6-0st This kit will also use the Electrotren 0-6-0st chassis and will feature an easy to build structure and will be in 'as built' condition, with Bagall chimney and other fittings I am hoping to have the post-war variant and round topped saddle tank variants available also.
  19. Absolutely, these distinctive sand boxes are separate fittings, so as to allow for as much detail as possible, more images are to follow which will feature these. As for the boiler, although the boiler is not completely cylindrical to allow the chassis to be fitted, there is still more of the boiler than then images show, I am terribly sorry for this, blame my haste but, as stated above, more images will follow which will give a more detailed impression, these are after all, only the very first shots.
  20. Great news! Thanks to a very generous investment, the RS&H 0-6-0t is now fast approaching finalisation, as such and for the first time I can share with you all some pre-production images of the main body. Please note, as this kit is still in the pre-production stage, I am very much interested in your feedback, I understand that these are so far the only images, so you may not get too much of an impression, but I will post more images soon. All feedback will be analysed and any suggested alteration will be considered. But anyway, here they are;
  21. Any pre-orders will be honoured, so do not worry about this. Thank you.
  22. I am sorry to inform you that the RS&H 0-6-0t and all other future kits have been suspended to to funding issues, please see my other post for more information and if you are interested in becoming a potential investor. I am truely sorry for this.
