  1. If you scale up the OO plans by 175% they should be bang on for O gauge. Most photocopiers will do that for you with the press of a few buttons, an A4 OO plan will fit on an A3 sheet. It will be the easiest way for you. You need to run a ruler over a few key dimensions to check that the scaling up has worked as photocopiers can be tricky beasts.

  2. I have used a SEEP mounted underneath the board with an offset. I did this by making a channel in the underside of the board, and a hole under the point for the pin. I then used pliers to bend the long seep pin through two 90 degree bends, makes a sort of Z shape, but with 90 degree bends.. You need to leave a little bit more pin than usual sticking up through the point tie bar as the bent pin will flex slightly when it moves. Seems to work.

    Otherwise what about the new surface mounted motors? Or could you have a point motor on top of the board at a remote position with wire-in-tube then connecting it to the point.
