  1. My Gbrf twin pack just arrived. Had a Quick Look and found 081 with both bogies not in the correct place in the cradle. Not had chance to run yet so hopefully it had not been damaged as there is no way I am going to try and fix it with my fat fingers and dodgy eyes. It will be a pain to return as the box is huge and to look like the retailer had issues finding suitable packaging as well

Morning! I'll get this sorted now, shouldn't be long.

FYI we're doing 4 outers / 8 inners in original, 2/3 in revised and 2/3 unbranded.

Hehe there's been lots of discussion about this. In theory they ran in sets of 5, but when a set of say 14 or 18 was required then a couple of inners would be dropped out at the quarry. Plus they'd be mixed in with PTAs, which muddies things further! So in the end we crunched the numbers from the expression of interest spreadsheet and did as many running numbers as we could for each variant.

Hi, Will the running numbers be different than the wagons in packs of 5?

Has anyone noticed a reduced volume on certain releases?

My first 4 were relatively loud. 602 marginally quieter but perfectly acceptable. 609, significantly quieter than the rest. I have noticed that this has an accurathrash branded speaker unlike the other models that were just blank. I think the sugarcube is also crackling but after watching the roads and rails vid I am inclined to get rid of that anyhow!

I have reset and changed the volume to max and the loco can not be heard paired with the others.  In a quiet room and prior to using any of the others it sounds decent but if you get another on the go, significantly quieter. Part of me doesn't mind because 609 was a right tub in this livery and sounded quiet and poor, but I hipe this isn't what is to come with furture releases, quieter models.

It certainly sounds a lot quieter than the roads and rails video of 609 which has that violent thrash that the rest of mine do. Anyone else had this issue?

I also thought both 608 & 609 were quieter than earlier versions. I would be good to know why this is

I notice that everyone is getting their model of 'Caroline' but as of yet I have had no email to advise me to pay my balance. The website update says all emails have been sent out so am just trying to fill in the gaps. I have emailed Revolution but I suspect they are busy.

    Many thanks.

paid in 2020 and still awaitng for mine so must be really busy if they have not sent out peoples order who have paid after 2020

  5. It would be useful if  Revolution could confirm which decoder, make and version, will fit and operate all the lighting functionality without any need to reprogram or re configure to make all the lights work correctly. Also I do not think you should need to remove the circuit board to isolate some lighting function to get the correct lighting arrangements as mentioned in a previous post

So the batteries were good and the vehicle is good, which should work.  Suggests either not inserted properly or something caused the original batteries not to make contact - perhaps a piece of cellophane wrapping or similar insulator got slipped in un-noticed ?

My eye sight is not great but no that bad that I would not see a piece of cellophane so No idea why it did not work so possibly a bad connection. Having inserted and removed the batteries I would say that it is a Very fiddly design, more so for removing batteries and inserting them. Overall still a great wagon.

  7. Hi  Tony

rechecked batteries and definitely the correct way round. Managed to remove the batteries using a screwdriver and pliers. Checked the voltage of the batteries again and all ok, but I did change them anyway. Put the new batteries in and worked this time. I’m not sure I would like to take the batteries out very often due to lack of access. Perhaps something Accurascale could look into in future releases. At least they don’t have to be send back.

  8. just tested my dcc ready Class 37 027 in which i fitted an Accurascale Sound decorder. I also have nothing when F11 switched on and like all others with the DCC ready model, the hall sensors do not work either. Logged issue with Accurascale Support, hopefully they will be able to resolve in the next week or 2.
