  1. Golden Arrow do a resin body for the loco and tender to fit the 4F running gear, I have one in my ever growing "to do" pile. HTH Geoff
  2. Ordered mine online and already well into it. Good collection of layouts I thought. Particularly taken with Pengwynn Crossing, something about it just "works" for me. Money well spent... Geoff
  3. I was surprised to see that 166 at Pen Mill. Are they replacing the 150s?
  4. Thanks both, that's most helpful. Will keep an eye out on ebay etc for one. Looks like the coaches are available too... Geoff
  5. Had a wonderful trip through Norway last year, train from Oslo to Trondheim, then from Trondheim to Bodo... This was our traction for the latter trip. Now, I know nothing about these, but they do sound good! Does anyone make a model of them? (Even if it will look a little out of place in 1960's Dorset!) Geoff
  6. Don.t worry, we can do that WAY before then!
  7. Just to give a big thumbs up to Sawyer Models, bought a Dapol "0" gauge wagon in their sale on Boxing day, arrived today! Great service from them and on my list for future purchases Geoff
  8. Headcodes received in the post today, good service from Dapol.
  9. Update. Had an email back from Dapol asking for my address so they can send me the headcodes when they have received more of them. Hope this helps Geoff
  10. Same here, same model and no headcodes included. Have sent email to Dapol too.
  11. A great book if you want to know about the branch, but very little about the quay... I would recommend looking at a copy before purchase to see if it's worth it to you.. Regards Geoff
  12. Things may be stirring, http://www.viewfrompublishing.co.uk/news_view/33026/11/1/weymouth-steam-train-attraction-could-boost would be great to see. Geoff
  13. The exhibition stock was converted by a company based in Bournemouth I believe.. The work was done at Wimborne station and I remember seeing it there in the mid seventies. Wimborne finally shut for good in 1977, so Salisbury was probably nearest place that could accommodate it Geoff
  14. Page 31 of "Lost Lines, Joint Railways" by Nigel Welbourn has a half page picture of E6108 heading towards Blandford at Corfe Mullen Junction on that date. HTH Geoff
