Finished the latest class 69 69005 this was on show at the DEMU show on my layout Burnroyd Works

Andy if you are at Doncaster this weekend let me know I have some spare grilles I will let you have some as I will be operating my layout Burnroyd Works thi;k I’m at stand 53 chris

The final result few weeks on the buffer beam with detail and probably weathering later but will enjoy running looking new for a while

Decals done and one satin finish will do another pass later like this livery it suits the class 37

Well not much to do with the poor weather so the last few 37 bodies thought would crack on as I rather like the plain 37422

Well I think it looks ok as I say think blue really suits the 60

Not looking too bad really like this livery think it suits the class and next onto couple satin over sprays then onto Burnroyd Works for some pics and hope to get this running on our new layout Bardun when we can get back to the club rooms

Now ready for gloss then the decals should be done this weekend I kind of like this livery and the decals will bring some life to it

Well while waiting to see what livery 69001 thought I would crack on to do GBRF 60026 in the fetching blue livery

Yeah rob, although I heard they may be doing 69001 in Progress rail livery whatever that is but no doubt that maybe blue lol

Looking good that Andy mine is nearly at that stage just need some more filler on a few parts after the first primer covering also can’t wait to see what livery it’s given

Well I will try to cost this up but I reckon it’s probably more down the challenge of the build rather than cost as they are not easy to come by and the last pair went for over £65 on eBay but I reckon it would cost at least £35 for the pair to make if you have most of the parts if you have to buy buffer ps and brake wheels and bogies separate the it adds up then there’s the decals .?

I'm sure someone was meant to weather that ?? Can't think who
