I was only thinking the other day how popular Colas could be in the Charter market

Thank you gents

Don't suppose anybody saw the pair working the Westbury - Bescot today do they? My Dad went to Radley to see it and got a bit excited to see that it was a pair and then got a bit flustered with the numbers, he thinks one of them was 805.
Cheers in advance if anyone can help :-)

Surely page 100 is monumental in itself

Those containers - it's a shame they can't be cut up into small enough pieces and sold on a commemorative plaque, with all proceeds going behind the bar for all the orange army to have a well-deserved drink! I would happily pay for a piece of this historic event as long as it rewarded those responsible for the incredible effort.
What a lovely idea

Didn't realise you were there Jim I drive past Queens Park every day to go to work
Any idea why all the tugs have been moved out of Crewe Diesel and parked on the bend?

Firat part of todays job done, 70802 from liverpool to bescot, on time departure from the docks and early running pretty much most of the way

Got 70805 on 6M50/6V46 today
Thanks for posting that Jim, my Mum has just passed away after a long illness and I've been trying to get my Dad's interest in trains back again. I gave him the times and told him to go and see something new and colourful and he actually saw you go through Radley............Good job you were held at Didcot though!!!!!!!!

Hey Jim, Just got back from Willaston crossing, any idea why 66846 lost so much time between Wem and Nantwich tonight on the logs, it sounded pretty good and ok as it went through
-
That's a cracking picture :)

Nice pictures Jim......I'm sure that 08 is in the same position as I was trying to read it's number on Sunday evening in the dark when I was there, I obviously failed trying to read from the platform

Loving the informative info CK, but could I ask what is probably deemed a silly question but how did Brunel build this originally. I may be a little thick but even I know he didn't have a load of steel containers to protect him :laugh_mini2:
Thanks in advance

That undermining of the houses screams underlying geological weakness (or some extremely poor recent surveys) - and putting that right will make the Cambrian Coast problems in the shade. Out until Autumn at the earliest I would say, and the cost will be horrendous.
Also, the bus replacement service arrangements are going to be HIGHLY AMUSING !
.
Can't see it boading well for the little China Clay traffic though

That's over an hour of waiting
