Hi Matt
Just received my "Industrial Loco's in Preservation..."
To confirm that quality and print/delivery/despatch are first class! Just about to order a couple more - keep them coming - Graham Woodruff

I have always had a soft spot for the North Cornwall Minerals railway, ever since coming across an article in an old Model Railways magazine. I have tried to collect as many of the articles that I could find over the years. Having actually seen some of the locos and stock at the recent Warminster exhibition, I am now trying to collate as complete list as possible of Iain's articles concerning Tregarrick and it's eclectic locomotive roster.
The results so far:
Model Railways June 1978 Neilson Box Tanks
Model Railways June 1979 Tregarrick Yard
Model Railways November 1979 Hercules
Model Railways December 1979 Progress Report
Model Railways January 1981 Tregarrick Regained
Model Railways February 1981 Tregarrick Regained 2
Model Railways June 1981 The Walrus and the Carpenter
Model Railways February 1982 Tregarrick Tribulations
Model Railway Constructor May 1980 Tregarrick – a brief history
So far I have managed to find copies of all of the above, except the June 1978 MR.
The introduction to the June 1979 article mentions descriptions of "several" locomotives in previous issues - I've only tracked down the June 1978 one, but are there others??

Have attached by Rice/Barlow bibliography - you should be able to pick out the Tregarrick-related articles by title - Graham WoodruffIain Rice.doc
I know this is a bit geekie, but comments/information welcomed!!

Many Thanks for the quick delivery of my Ruston 48DS chassis....
Ordered Sunday night, Postie just got drenched walking up the drive about an hour ago!!!
Thanks also for the detailed instructions - I've had much less with complete kits (love the way the brake blocks are done - maybe you could do a full etched sheet of these?)
Brilliant - now to the workbench
Best Regards

Mine arrived a few days ago, but tonight was the first chance to test - dug out and cleaned an old yard of Peco, dusted off the Gaugemaster controller - unused for over a year, lubricated, connected up - <around 45 seconds> to cover the yard of track with <little or no> hesitation - now, after a couple of hours simmering on the rolling road it is virtually a silent runner.
This worries me - I have got the Ultrascale EM conversion pack, but seriously wondering whether I should bother - may just stay with 00 if this is the quality of r-t-r to come
Congratulations to Dapol on this for a very reasonable price
Now must wait for the Heljan Railbus!

"Looks wonderful, Simon."
..... and it is - well up to the standard expected of both Author and Publisher - the other one featuring a contentious photo of Barmouth on the cover ain't that bad either
