Level crossing stupidity...

It is an EUWC not a UWC, we have a couple on our patch in a simular state. They have to be worked as bog standard Occupation/Accommodation crossings, ie the user has to phone to get permission to cross. -
Platform 7 at Gatwick Airport is due to come into use from Monday 10th February (or maybe Sunday 9th if there is no engineering works on), with all the off peak Gat-Ex turning around in platorms 5&6. The exception to this will be the ones that go to Three Bridges or Gatwick Sidings which will need to use the slow side. The signalling for platform 7 is fully signed in and a test train has already run through it stopping for and hour while the engineers confirmed gauging. The platform (or should i say line) is open now for ECS moves only.
