  1. Ok then...after studying the Pug and finding a diagram sheet...I have discovered what I wanted to do is impossible without cutting wires...I cant solder...well.. i guess tons of masking and not making a mess of things.

      Remove the BR crest, number board, and builders plate printing. I found using the turtle wax polish with a polishing pad in an electric drill works quickly. Just makes a bit of a mess and with the cab body, ending the job under a strong tap made quick work of clean up. Cant really run a whole loco under water so I need to mask A LOT and take it very slowly.

      I have a pug, ill take a look tomorrow if you want? I'm fairly sure there has to be a way of removing the body and cab.

      The cab yes, the body shell is also the footplate which the motor wires go through. To remove the body shell you have to cut the wires. Im just going to mask it to hell and carefully not make a mess with turtlewax.
