I want to re-wheel to EM but cannot see how to remove the bogie base plates to get at the wheels. I have done other locos, Bachmann 24, Heljan 15 & 16 but this has me beaten so far. Anyone been able to do this? Thanks Chris

Thanks for replying David. How did you remove the brake gear to get to the gearing cover and how is it removed? Did you replace the wheelsets complete? Chris

Has anyone converted the Y1 to EM? I have not had a chance to try to remove the wheels yet. Thanks Chris
