    Just discovered that I have one of the "Uncirculated" new £1 coins, is it immoral to stick this on eBay for the silly prices people are asking then spend the profits on trains without telling the misses??

      As for which bit is immoral, any of it?? I'm happy to help a fool part with his money if it's appropriate, as for the misses, I wouldn't be able to buy more trains with it if I told her!!

      Well since you all agree, I have listed it for a slightly more sensible price than others. However I did realise a while ago they are not "rare" which is why I used quote marks in my status

    just a heads up on facebook there is someone claiming to be from Love productions [the people who make great British bake-off] posting in model railway groups wanting to enlist modellers in a project to build the worlds biggest model railway for TV, it makes no sense so you'll most likely spot it, no idea what their end goal is

    RMweb has been a source of comfort during times of stress for me, and no doubt will continue to be so in the future. But... there are days when I just really want to go away and never come back.

      My plan is for a photo plank. I don't know if I'll even bother wiring it up to be honest!! I'm hoping the plan is different enough from what has been seen before to make it interesting.

      Thanks Alex. I don't keep track of how many Brownie points I have I think they even themselves out, must be time to tell her I have stuff coming into the model shop on her payday!! I can't get the units while I have the dog living there!!

      My stuff has always sat nicely on shelves, not even in boxes as the shelves have rails. It just happens that the cupboard takes up a lot of room and I never got around to putting a door on it!!
