Got a reply from Hornby and they basically said that if I wanted more snowploughs I could buy some! So I have replied to them stating that the ones in the detail packs are the ones that don't allow couplings to be fitted so wouldn't fix the problem anyway.I then pointed out that it doesn't state anywhere on the box about not being supplied and that I would be contacting trading standards about the matter.All this for about 5 pence worth of plastic! Oh and by the way the detailing parts bag they said I should buy is out of stock anyway!!!

I will be ringing on Saturday or Monday if they don't answer on Saturday.

Snapped up a "sound" bargain!

Just opened my new Hornby class 60 SKIDDAW and was surprised to see that there are no snowploughs fitted and when I opened the bag of extras expecting them to be in there there was only one to use with a coupling and one to use when detailing pipes and no coupling.On my previous class 60's they came with the snowplough that allowed couplings to fitted already fitted and the detail variant as an option.I like to have couplings at both ends for ease of operation.Have I been unlucky or is this a new cost saving measure by Hornby??,hope not as at £185 I think it should have a full set of snowploughs that would only cost pence to supply.
