  1. This was at a time when a number of 'prog' bands seemed in great danger of disappearing up their own *#@!. I remember Jethro Tull brought out 'A Passion Play' around the same time - what was that all about? I was a big Tull fan back then, but despite repeated listenings I just couldn't get into it. Still got the old vinyl somewhere, haven't listened to it for years. Maybe I should dig it out and give it another spin.
  2. Don't know if you've listened to him on Planet Rock on a Saturday morning. Not only is he scarily talented, he's also very funny. Good way to spend three hours while bashing away at your latest project. Been listening to Traffic - On The Road, great live album from 1973 featuring Steve Winwood, another highly talented musician.
  3. Born To Be Wild - Steppenwolf (As we seem to be in biker mode at the moment)
  4. Hi Tony, The 4F is looking really good. The boiler looks a bit incongruous in it's raw state (resin I presume) but will look great once it's painted, well up to your usual, excellent, standards. BTW, how are you getting on with the Fairbairn? I haven't seen much mention of it for a while. Rob
  5. Cruisin' For A Love - J. Geils Band
  6. My local has a free jukebox on a Monday evening, last night my mate Steve and I put on every Who song they had (about fifteen) consecutively. The barmaid complained that you can have too much of The Who - stupid girl!
  7. Black Magic Woman - Fleetwood Mac (also featuring Peter Green!)
  8. The Needle And The Damage Done - Neil Young
  9. For What It's Worth - Buffalo Springfield
  10. By The Time I Get To Phoenix - Gene Pitney
  11. As an Arsenal supporter of over forty years standing I'm obviously not a happy bunny at the moment. However, it would be churlish not to congratulate the Baggies on their win - well done. Every season throws up at least one result like this for most of the 'big' teams. Hopefully, we've got ours out of the way early and can now concentrate on actually winning something this year.
  12. Agree Colin, in fact 'Benefit' is one of my favourite Tull albums, very underrated IMO. Back on topic: Help On The Way - Grateful Dead
  13. With You There To Help Me - Jethro Tull
