    just done first day training on Lal ratty, as a guard, never had so much fun in one day, carnt wait for next day down there to contuine

      Glad to hear you enjoyed it. Assuming you were there on Monday, it was truly wet - I was there yesterday (Tuesday) which was much nicer. I started as a guard 3 months ago and recently 'passed out', so am running solo. Hope to see you there soon.

      cool simon, am back down tomorrow so could see you there, going to try and do two days a week if i can but no matter what the weather its great fun

    Have to say there is some brillant piece3s or art on here, i my self do a lot of drawing, & i also do draewings for a local trust & have done line drawings of all there buses, for kids to colour in First up are some from when i was at college i drew during my breaks, not my best of work tank loco crossing a cast iron bridge at sun set a freight loco batteling shap in winter a engineman cleaning out a crab smokebox Now for some later work i recently done. a hunselt clarke at tanfeild based on a photo o took this year on a coach trip to a bus rally these arent excatly railways but thought id include them Leyland national MkII REV 01, (which ive worked with in real live, as 556, as its known as) a steam punk city with vehicles all post more, when i can Mark

    Thought id post on here, Although im not much of a drinker i dont mind the odd pint of ale But on saturday i helped out at a beer festivasl in workington, & got 3 tokens for some half pints, so decied i might as well use em, & the first drink i got was Thirst falls from keswick & have to say is a rather nice next was a stout & was rather strong for my taste, and lasdt was a still cider, which was like apple jucie, had plenty more drinks but sadly by the time id finshed filming a local band the pumps dried up, Another fav drink of mine is Spitfire Ale, Mark

    Well after a long spell off here im back and hoping to be on here more, My current layout is in its infancy and is a model of Seahouses station on the end of the North Sunderland Railway, modeled as it was befor closure in 1950s. So in all, Private railway on the BR Eastern region in 1950s Mark
