The best to be hoped for is that it will be excavated, surveyed and photographed.

Then it'll be concreted over.

I guess it depends on why they were doing archaeology there in the first place - and whether what they found has any effect on the plans for the site / area.

I wonder if any members of this site actually know what's going to be happening - and are in a position to say.

Just out of interest, I wonder if a TV camera crew were in the Aston area late last year.
