  1. The beautiful little bucket from the Ixion Hudswell Clarke would be perfect to emulate this. Not sure if it's available seperately.
  2. I haven't worked out how to get it apart yet. If anyone's managed it, I'd appreciate a step by step guide. Shame Dapol didn't include any info on this - or anything else!
  3. For anyone with the Southern green version the attached pic might be worth a look. It was undated, unfortunately, but I'd guess at mid to late 1930's. Main points for the "purist"; third pipe on rear buffer beam (possibly push/pull fitted); cab backplate painted black not lined green and condensing pipes between smokebox and side tanks. Also, note the height of that coal stack!
  4. It's arrived. I've not run it yet but the quality is outstanding - far exceeds all expectations, real museum quality! Many thanks to Tower Models for superb service. Is this the first pic of a production Terrier to go on line?
  5. Don't forget the time difference - it's 7:30 am in the UK. The Interlink website says it's at my local depot for delivery today.
  6. Interlink website confirms that it's on its way.....trying to contain my excitement!
  7. Tower Models contacted me at 2 o'clock to say that they have the Terrier at last and will despatch for delivery to me on Wednesday 26th.
  8. Yes, it is getting beyond stupid. Stroudley designed the terriers in late 1871 and the first one entered service in September 1872. Of course, it was all done 'in house' in those days!
