  4. Hi Art, thanks for your words, Regarding tool to prepare rivets and cut out small holes: metal handle comes of a set of small screw taps. Punch was made myself using injection needles, inside are the spring of the lighter and metal rod for removing paper. Rgds Mirek

Hi Steve, Depends of elements I use 3 kinds of glue: Bison Kontakt for sticking layers of cardboard Brand Clear Glue for sticking cardboard elements SuperGlue for connection cardboard with metal. This glue is also used for improving of strength of cardboard. For painting I use Pactra and metalizer Model Master. At the finish of building I put the models to glass cabinet, no apply any finishing protective. The reason why I joined to this forum was to exchange remarks, experiences then I am happy if I can answer for the questions or receive sugestions. Cheers Mirek

  7. Hello, Ed, it could moves but it couldn't run, it is needs for me adjust later all elements when will be make final assembly. Now It is difficult to me find correct position of rods, wheels, shafts and another elements. Today smokebox sadle, and upper bolsters, supported boiler. Cheers Mirek
  8. Hello, Today assembly of high pressure unit. It was assembled without glue, for checking if elements are correct and to check if there isn't any colision of parts. I've started painting of elements: rgds Mirek
  9. Hi John, Thanks for your grats, The wheels are made of paper. Proces of modeling you can see below step by step: Surface where should be visible metal shining is covered by layer of AC glue (Superglue or similar) This surface is polished by sandpaper 1500 and later cover by metalizer. I use polish metalizer Sniezka, bought in local market. Painting I make by brush. Cheers Mirek

  12. Hi Campaman, The parts I cut by hand, straight line by Olfa cutter according to the ruler, the curved line by small chisel, like Silhouette cutter but much slower Cheers Mirek

  17. Hello, Today bolster where is axle of Bissel's truck. Hand cut elements Assembled elements element after painting and together with Bissel's truck Rgds Mirek

Hello, Area for printing was filled: After changing color of lines in layer for black was made printout: Printout is on card 180 g/sqm thikness around 0.23 mm I need color and textures on both sides of elements then it is sticked by contact neoprene glue, I use Bison contact glue. Final thicknes of printed elements should be 0.5 mm. Next step will be cut elements and asembled them. Now is prepared around 30% of elements of frame. Cheers Mirek

  21. Hi Phil, The spring is made of 0.2 mm copper wire . Wire is wound onto 0.7 mm dressmaking pin. Later it is a little bit expanded. Rgds Mirek
