Hi Nearholmer.. “didn’t we have a Loverly time... the day we blah blah”... can’t think of a better way of spending a Monday morning than playing Trains with a like minded fellow. Such a shame we had to stop so soon to accommodate some work... damn those Monday calls! I glad you found the layout fun, that was always the intention, oh and I agree... it’s is baffling... designed (accidentally) to exercise my brain when my career is finally laid to rest.. hopefully in the not too distant future. Hi, I started to convert my loft for a layout, when one July day I tried to enter, and the heat was staggering. I then looked into insulating the rafters, but could have caused air circulation issues leading to condensation. In short it all got a bit impractical... and expensive. In the end, I made a layout in the garage that can be hauled up to allow access to the garden when needed.
