  1. Have you tried searching for it on the Hornby website? Link given below. http://www.Hornby.com/uk-en/shop/new-for-2016/locomotives-train-packs/class-60-60066-drax.html
  2. Saw these on a video on Youtube just now... Full credits to the owner -
  3. I found that...But everytime I click on the "Contact Us" tab the page simply reloads.
  4. Or could it be them just showing one prototype now as it is ready? Or maybe do variations later?
  5. Hornby Junior Range:- Looks really good. I'm sure if I was much smaller I'd be dying to get one. However now I think I can be designing some to match that. Nice that it is 1:87 too. It can match Marklin's offering. Humbrol 3D printer and filament:- I once had a bet with a chap who said I'll buy a 3D printer, I can now say I will end up buying one and I've lost a bet. Hornby Downtown Abbey set:- The set is so perfect for a starter set. But I just don't get the Downtown Abbey theme. Nonetheless it is a nice set. But I remember seeing trains on 2 episodes on the "Famous 5" series by Enid Blyton. That would have been more appealing. It had a J94 too, something that Hornby has.
  6. Thanks for that JoeJab.... I myself could only spot the difference in doors. I was planning on using an etch for the door.
  7. That doesn't mean you continue with cluttering the forum with your sad stories. Least interesting. Lots have had bad experiences with Dapol, but they don't whinge on every topic. Every post of yours clearly shows your hatred. And as far as I can see there is 28,000 members on RMweb. So your "many in support" isn't really many. Please keep your personal bad experiences to yourself. This very topic has no relation to you. Yet you posted unnecessarily. It's okay if you post in a topic relevant.
  8. Does anyone have a list of detailed differences between the regular Mk.3 stock and those modified by Chiltern? Maybe even images too (apart from the most obvious door mod).
  9. Looks like someone has taken it upon himself to spread his hatred for Dapol in so many places on RMweb... 12 posts so far and almost all showing hatred for a brand. What a pity! If you don't have anything useful other than moaning it's better not to clutter the threads. Yes there are problems with models. Nothing can be perfect. But not everyone wants to listen to your complaints. If you've made a decision to boycott a brand can you please quit telling us your sad stories filled with hatred?
  10. Is Oxford Diecast or Oxford Rail doing this? Or are they considered the same overall company?
  11. Looking lovely...! I hope to see more progress soon!
  12. I'm pretty sure the Royal Train coaches would sell. I hope they do that. If they do the Royal Train coaches I would surely buy a set as I have the Hornby Class 67 to go along with it.
  13. Have you had a look at the excellent images posted on page 2 of this thread? IMO the flanges look really fine. Could be my eyes tricking me though. But looks very fine.
  14. How to I contact Oxford Rail? Can't find any email ID on they're website.
  15. I think it will solve the issue if Hornby paint it right. Because the swoosh is uni-directional...so it has to.
  16. Looks absolutely stunning. As I said before, miles ahead of their Adams Radial which was a disappointment.
  17. As and when they feel that an item is at a stage when it is ready to be announced (according to them).

  19. I echo your concerns. I really welcome these new Mk3 coaches. However when it comes to HST variants it will be a bit of an issue as they will have to see what Hornby makes. It may or may not affect Hornby's sales. Hornby's current offering isn't bad at all. If Rapido do it they will do the prototype ones which I believe are different. My only worry is what liveries Oxford will release. They have to either look at Hornby or Bachmann and release something according to that. Well I'm guessing you said that on a light note...But these kind of posts are absolutely pointless and just starts a whole bunch of pointless arguments as to who is duplicating who and we will never know who did. Unnecessarily accusing one manufacturer or targeting another is just a waste of time and forum space. One can already see this thread going off topic. Well they have to do something that matches loco hauled Mk3s for sure. Class 86, Class 87, (Im sure they can get a Class 90 out faster than Bachmann) etc.
  20. That clearly looks far better than the Adams Radial from OR. Miles ahead. Infact I must add, the Dean Goods sample looks so much better in EP form than the Adams Radial in it's RTR form.
  21. Excellent move by Oxford Rail, though IMHO the Hornby offering wasn't so bad, I think getting some really good detailed ones was a good thing. I look forward to seeing these. Only 2 things worry me - price and liveries. Though by Oxford's history price should be more than just competitive. In terms of livery I wonder what they'll do? matching stuff for Hornby or Bachmann?
  22. Oxford Rail announces - OO gauge Mk3 coaches http://www.oxfordrail.com/76/OR76MK3.htm
