    Wowww!!!!!! That looks beautiful...
  2. They look excellent...Can't wait for the Class 50
  3. Yes lots of positive feedback...Many people asked on facebook too about the availability. Thanks for posting
  4. Is the Dapol Schools class loco driven? Or does the EP just lack the drive shaft? BTW Thanks Ed for posting pics
  5. The numeral "2" should be in white and it should be in "Arial" Doesn't bother me a bit though....Love this model
  6. I hope it's a new Class 87 or Class 90... Though I have a feeling I'll be very disappointed. By the way Ben can you atleast tell us if it will be in N gauge or OO gauge? (I always thought you'll were strictly N gauge but now I see a OO gauge TEA tanker in the pipeline)
  7. Please do read up....Dapol have clearly stated that they used the older EP and the newer one has a modified casing. If you took the time to watch the video I'm sure you had time to see what's beside it. Always better to read first before jumping to a conclusion. See here http://Dapol.co.uk/image/data/a4_update_2%20(002).pdf
  8. Hi M0rris, The Class 180 prints look fabulous. Also love the CAD work for your Class 158.
  9. Well maybe you can ask an admin to unlock my thread and add the CAD images manually to my initial post. I look forward to seeing test samples and also painted samples. Very curious to see the LSP and green with egg shell blue versions.

I couldn't agree more... They are all attractive. Sad I prefer the more modern era versions. Something about me prefers the post-TOPS numbering scheme, so I prefer the 08XXX over the DXXX. From that list it's only the BR Blue version that has the 08XXX numbering. I would ideally love to have an EWS, FGW/GWR, HNRC etc...
  11. @ The Nth Degree I hadn't seen this topic so I had started one as a separate thread. IMO I think that should've been left open to discuss the Class 15 only. Anyway, I'm not sure if I will buy one, but it looks too good to resist. Loco has the typical ALCo style design and so brings back memories. Is the artwork for these done? I am curious to see what BTH15-GDB Green with duck egg blue cab panels, BTH15-LSP Liverpool Street pilot Limited Edition, fully decorated look like. Any prototype photos in colour?
  12. http://darjeelingtrainz.com/dhr-engines-rollingstock.html Scroll down....there is a pic of #157 from Trainz. Contact those developers if you need any more pics. I'm sure they can help if they did it for a sim.
  13. Nice long order period then. Jokes aside the CAD looks marvelous. Good luck with the project. Looks absolutely wonderful.
  14. Those look beautiful.... I think I'm sold on it. Moving to O gauge. With Dapol's Class 08 and JLTRT's Class 47 I think a nice diorama is in store
  15. Can you PM me with your email ID? I can then chat with you there and hopefully get you through to my mate who can probably help.
  16. OLD NEW Clearly a big difference in the same models but from different times. Similar lighting conditions too. The new one seems to be darker in appearance due to the gloss. All the highlights are much sharper due to the gloss where as the older one seems dull and blurred due to the satin.
  17. Well if you can show me an image of previous releases against this forthcoming one I'd believe you. So far I cannot find any.
  18. Nope, it is gloss. Clearly looks different from other Hornby locos and also other streamlined Duchess Class locos from Hornby. So yes it is gloss....
  19. A good friend of mine owns a company that makes models of these. I will ask him if he has any info about them.
  20. That doesn't mean Dapol or Hornby can't do a better job (not to mention quicker).
