Just been looking at a very nicely built Judith Edge kit the Kitson Consett A class. I have attached a couple of photos of my recently built model, Markits wheels and a High-level gearbox have been fitted. Still a little work to be carried out. The cab roof has not been fixed yet I shall glaze the cab windows first. The buffers will be fitted once painted. At the moment a faded pale green is the chosen colour. Transfers will be from the excellent Railtec NCB range. The loco will be finished in time for my new layout's(Fence Houses NCB) next outing. A most enjoyable kit to build and a pleasing result.

Nice to see a real engine from a real railway co in its true colours not bad pictures either.

David/Tony I'm also building the Duke( PDK) and hope to have the model running at York on Borchester Market. There is a very good photo of 60508 in Bradford and Barton " North Eastern Pacifics" page 69. According to some info she was the only english A2/1 to remain with AWS eqpt but I've not seen any pics as of yet. Your model looks good. Ian.
