... and further to the above, Lynx Models of Heckington seem to have taken over the range (website updated in Jan 2020).

Many thanks Stephen and Tim: now resolved. The supplier was Blackberry Way, of Handsworth Wood, Birmingham. I've no idea if it's still trading, but I've now got enough for the job in hand.

Apologies if this is the wrong place to ask, but I'm after some LSWR pattern canopy posts/pillars (see image of one at Farnborough, Hants). I bought a small batch many years ago but can't remember anything other than they were sold loose (they came in a paper bag!) Does anyone know of a supplier?
TIA,
David H

Yes there was a Lyn kit, I think I was the guy who brough Daves when he had it up for sale a few years ago, I don't have it at the moment since I let some one in the L&BR Trust who was rebuilding Chelfham in 014 to have it on loan to go with that layout, but I have lost contact with them, I will see what I can find out.
If I do find it I will say now I won't sell it as I want it to remain available for a possible L&BR Trust 014 layout. The problem is I don't think it is built yet so I would need to come to some sort or arrangement over it, if that makes sense.

For the record, not me ... though I'm intrigued if there is someone else out there 'rebuilding Chelfham in O14'. I acquired Brian Taylor/Shoreham MRC's Chelfham just ahead of Warley 2012's L&B World, and when last I exhibited it in Burton 2-3 years ago I'd almost finished re-gauging. Needless to say, I've still only almost finished!
I have an L&B Models Lyn, bought from David Nicholson many years ago, which is still in its 'flatpack' state but I did get as far as talking to David about it at Bristol Trade Show a couple of years ago, when he mentioned that he'd made available a few replacement parts/addenda to the instructions that no-one has asked for since so few seem to have been built.
Do please let me know if you get back in touch with this other O14 Chelfham's owner: I'd like to view the competition (or have an excuse to throw in the towel!)

Wanted: Instructions for The Wagon & Carriage Works Gauge 0 LNER/BR L1 2-6-4T kit WW302

A friend has just acquired a part-built kit from the stash of the late John Day. It is a gauge 0 LNER/BR L1 2-6-4T loco, kit no. WW302, but contains no instructions. Originally bought from Home of 0 Gauge in Raynes Park (I remember it well!), the contact details for the maker, The Wagon & Carriage Works, is given as Station Road, Sawbridgeworth, Herts. A company of the same name is based in Lincolnshire but we've yet to contact them to see if they are at all related and can help: from their online shop, it seems doubtful. Does anyone have a copy of the instructions that they'd be prepared to scan or photocopy?
