  1. Dave those photos are amazing. I think what really helps is the trackwork as models so often look wrong. In those pics I could hardly tell the difference. Keep it up.
  2. Hi Chris What are the tankers in the photos in post 27? They look like old Hornby/Railroad. If so you've done a great job on them. What real wagons are they based on and where did you get the transfers (I'm renovating a few old Hornby tankers).
  3. Class 117 looks good Stu, the only thing I would suggest is that the large tension lock couplers look a bit unsightly. Are you considering replacing them? I've seen people use wire loops which improve the appearance no end.
  4. Taking a night off toy trains to watch the football Tsk tsk tsk... Keep up the good work Stu, it looks and sounds great. P.S. 'Go on England!!!'
  5. WOW! I'm not usually interested in steam-era layouts, but this one is absolutely fascinating! Love the way you've added all the details and made old, cheap models (Smokey Joe, ambulance train etc) look really good. BTW what is the 0-6-0 diesel shunter in the pictures in post 83? It looks as though it's made from an old Hornby class 08. Am I right?
  6. Nice layout. I wish there really was a class 22 diesel in preservation . Not sure I'm so keen on the class 67 and steam loco combination though...
  7. Wow, that's some fabulous modelling, I thought at first it was OO gauge. Keep it up.
