Ok didn’t realise this, fitted ones printed in black medium and they look a treat to the naked eye!! Better than the square nem pocket at any rate. My print head is 0.4mm so this impacts the detail i can include.

Ok so i have a produced a prototype wedgelock and combined buffer beam on the car now and its not looking too bad. Had a couple of trial runs and now printed at the best resolution at a scale width with just the hook and receiver to add. The final effort will be smoothed out somewhat but at 11mm x 6mm you don’t have much to work with !!! Let alone see it without a microscope!!

Fancied this as soon as it was announced, as I'm from Balham and travelled lots on this class as a nipper with my mum. I Watched the terrific review by the ex LT motorman Brian, and thought I'll look out for a set. On Wednesday Kernow were showing 8 sets. By Saturday it was 2 sets!! So I pulled the trigger on a set which arrived safely today. Absolutely chuffed with something I can relate to from childhood in south London..! Kernow now out of stock, only Malcs Models are showing any stock as of today!! I guess you can say these are mighty sought after models even if the price 'appears' high!! I can see these selling up to £500 a set next month!! I do intend to fit DCC sound and working driving lamps using bi-colour leds. Also paint the cabs in the correct Cerulean Blue and add a driver and populate the cars.

Glad you managed to complete the LiveDrive controller Dave, Fun to make aren't they!!! Certainly sharpen up ones soldering skills I'd say!! By the end of March we will have sold 100 of these marvellous box of tricks. I just hope that all 100 are built ad up and running!
