Hi all. Finally got mine assembled this morning with a slightly thick head! Bit of a but if you persist it will happen. Problem for me is that it won't go all the way round my track because the nose fouls against the end wall of the shed. So it will be restricted to short high speed runs. Bit like the real thing. One query, is there a way to turn off the lights inside tc1 and tc2 ?

Yes oh yes oh yes!! Mine arrived today.No 628/2000 with sound. Only I have been in 'spoons since 4.30 sampling one or two ales so am in no fit state to even post this let alone try assembling the train. Have opened the box and had a peek inside but that's it until tomorrow. Can't chuffing wait. Hail all silver banana fans, it looks fab. Nige

Tomorrow could be a big day for some of us. I reckon that the first deliveries could be that soon. Who is going to be first past the post with piccies or vids of their new silver banana?

I have a week off work after Easter Sunday. Fingers tightly crossed that the postie pays me a visit early that week,then it's in to my manshed to make gas turbine noises
