Just received my class 68 019 "Brutus" from Rails, great service only ordered on Friday. This really is a cracking model and it runs great straight out of the box.

Got mine this morning very pleased with it. I am just missing a class 66 in Colas. I think I will wait for Hattons new one due next spring.

If they want great layouts to look at, they either have to give them more time or allow what missenden have done. -
Just had another look on the new web site, something has changed , thumbnails seem to have disappeared. After reading some other comments I have tried the firefox browser and the thumbs are working but not in the Chrome browser.

You are correct the handrails are moulded, but does not detract from the model imo.

My 37099 is due to arrive tomorrow, really looking forward to seeing it in the flesh.

I think I shall be digging deep to get DRS plain blue class 68. They really are great models in my eyes.

Just had a look through my whole collection, not one Bachmann has non sprung buffers. 32-778 D6826 in Br Green Centre head code has round buffers but these are also sprung.

Interesting, bit of a bast from the past. I cannot remember when I had a 37 without sprung buffers, going back to the original Tre Pol and Pen (2004) and also have 37038 (2008), plus many others with sprung buffers.

I brought 37421 in Colas in June and the buffers are sprung.

Received 73205 "Janette" in the post, from Hatton's today. Just given it a 30 minute run and everything is working fine for me. I did have reservations ,but I am happy I took the plunge.

My 68 arrived 68003 " Astute" I am delighted with the finish and the running . The extensive packaging can only help during transit.
