I bought the train as I loved the real thing and now it's my favourite model, not to make a profit or worry about how rare it is,run the train and enjoy it gentlemen and stop worrying about certificate numbers or if rapido make any more.

Just read the apt-e review in model rail magazine and it says there is one wiper on one end as in real life one was knocked off by a bird strike, I thought one end had one and the other two as a experiment?

It seems a waste of money by BR that the apt-e was just left surely more coaches could of been added and it could have ran some sort of service?

it's nice both apt are preserved what a shame a pullman was not.

I love the bullet train at NRM as I have quite a few n-gauge Japanese models and it is highly likely I will never get the chance to see the real thing in Japan .

To all you guys who are still waiting it's well worth the wait,I have never paid this much for a train but now I am glad I did,for years I wished someone would make this train and when I saw the leaflet at Shildon I just had to order it.can't stop looking at it and running it,next would be to see the real one run but don't think the money will ever be there?
