  10. Hi Bill, Thanks for the concern. Don't worry about it, I have realised how people are getting confused between links between me and Dakota... Well, now and I know to chose my sponsor more carefully in future (although he offered to sponsor me and I wasnt aware of what he was doing and anyway, I didn't really want to turn down a sponsor). Harry?? Harry has got nothing to do with me.... Its Dakota who is sponsoring me. Yes, but don't worry. Regards, Gellert
  11. Who, me? I haven't used a fake name, and this is my first exhibition so... I believe that people will realise if you use a fake club name as this forum later proved and I thought that then less people would come to the exhibition and would it may be good short term but won't be long term as exhibitors won't want to come, traders either and then without those two things it's impossible to organise an exhibition. Gellert
  12. Hi all, Having a look around, and have seen that the organisers have moved this exhibition with the fake club name and top of my head its now 10th and 11th December. Gellert
  13. I totally agree with your point however as I have said before, why should someone have to travel to see a model railway show hours away? I think more shows (although not too many on a weekend in an area) would help and since I have organised this, I have realised a lot of my friends once owned a layout and these are the things that would get them back into the hobby.
  14. Yes, I know. I meant that I hope I can donate more because hopefully I will have more profit to donate more (does that make sense?). Regards, Gellert
  15. Hopefully there's going to be more profit than £50 but we will see!
  16. Yes, that's the problem, too many too chose from! Okay, will have a think, it may be that I donate x amount to all the ones or put the names in a pot and choose that way. Gellert
  17. Sorry, now changed! -Thinking and writing at the same time dont go together for me! Sorry
  18. Also, two more things. Just checked the Oxted Presents and thats organised by Dakota Dibben and not by me. It has nothing to do with me what so ever. Secondly, the First Hersham Train Exhibtion, some money will go to charity. The reason I haven't publicised that too much is because I don't know totally which charity but if you have any suggestions, please do drop me an email at info@hershamtrainexhibition.co.uk. Regards Gellert
  19. Hi Geoff, Again, Hersham is ran by me! Gellert
  20. Hi Dave, My name is Gellert Kiss organising the First Hersham Model Railway Exhibition. Dakota Dibben is a business who is sponsoring this exhibition who buys and sells used model railway things. I agree to your point to an extent. Hornby made a loss in February which means (in my eyes) that there are less and less people in the hobby. Therefore I believe that private people organising shows are adding to the model railway world. However, if it is on the same day as a club show near then I will agree. But most importantly I think there has been some confusion so I think it has been a mix&match between people. Kind regards, Gellert Kiss
