  1. Hi, Is there a way of finding out who created the sound file on a decoder? I recently bought a second hand Loksound v4 from Rails of Sheffield with a class 37 file loaded, and I must say that it is excellent, but as a complete novice to the world of DCC sound I couldn't tell you who created this sound file and I would like to know just out of curiosity. I don't have a layout at the moment, I've only just finished converting my garage into a decent habitual environment and constructed the framework to support the baseboards but I do have a simple oval test track to satisfy my need to play and run new additions. Hornby e-Link and railmaster is my choice of DCC controller and reading CV's 7&8 gives me the values of 255 for CV 7 and 151 for CV 8 both of which basically tell me about the decoder but there's nothing about the sound file. Your help and advice is greatly appreciated, Cheers, Mark.
