  4. Yes I did use the Railtec Film Free Decals They are quite delicate, but work very well I haven't used any varnish to protect them to date, but I generally use Tamiya varnish. Its very fine and does give a great finish G
  5. I've ordered some depot allocation stickers from Railtec too very small, but they'll add a little something
  6. Here's mine! Just need to paint the nose handrails white and the wheels black Lovely model
  7. Hi Flood I just realised that you are the chap that does Kirkhill with Glen? Glen and I started on the railways together in September 1981 Please give him my very best Graeme
  8. So they are!!! Thanks Flood That's a really great help I'll just leave them off my Large Logo m/c Best wishes Graeme
  9. Nameplates arrived this morning from Severn Mill Can anyone tell me where the builders plates go on a 50? I can't find any photographs that show any on a loco. EE normally put them under the can windows, but they aren't there on a 50.
  10. Just a few touch ups needed on the nose handrails that are yellow I've chosen 50039 and they were definitely white on her Otherwise, I'm a very happy bunny
  11. Just got my large logo blue one Looks fabulous to me. I've got the numbers ready. Just waiting for the nameplates now
  12. ........................................"Can be referring to anything other than personal, rather than business, health" I think that I made my point clear my friend! Steve or someone else from LLC needs to talk to us.........and now!!! Surely that isn't at all unreasonable??
  13. Please feel absolutely free to be incensed,,,,,,,,,,that is of course your prerogative ! I feel incensed too ...that I'm owed £1000 by LLC and that no one has heard anything from Steve at all!!! I absolutely, without reservation, hope that Steve recovers from his illness..............and I could also be incensed by your suggestion (which I assume was not meant) that I should feel anything other than that - and so no, I won't regret saying what I said!! I was referring to his business and not his health The fact remains that Steve has a lot of our money and is (apparently) ignoring us all. I would have thought that by your "INDUSTRY AND HONOUR' motto, you would understand that Andy??
  14. Thanks for your reply John I do appreciate and accept your view............... to a point! However, I din't think CK is being sarcastic, just naive and a little bit too clever for my liking! LLC is a business, not a charity and as such, it should stand behind what it says on its brief (the basis on which we ordered - and I was not part of the crowd funding), which it clearly is not doing This is the real world!! Further, if the illusive Steve was at least talking to everyone, my view would be different............but he has gone to ground! ............and please (before anyone does) don't tell me AGAIN that he is ill!
  15. Well, thank you Captain Kernow, for your very constructive comment! Perhaps £1000 for you is an insignificant amount and I do envy you that you are so very wealthy It must be a very nice position to be in............just to sit and pass comment! However, for most of us. its a significant sum of money that has been taken by this fellow without being able to deliver on his commitments. This is obviously fine for you, but for most of us, it isn't. .............I would appreciate less of the sarcastic comments, if that's okay with you, because nothing that you have said so far will, and I quote you: "sort it all out!"
  16. After I made a comment on here about honour a couple of weeks ago and got a few points back questioning my point, I sent Steve an e-mail and cancelled my order, asking for my money back under the terms of the deal. I wasn't part of any funding and merely ordered two locos in good faith. To be honest, I was a bit surprised when the money went out of my account straight away. To date, I haven't had so much as a word of response! I'm giving him one more week then the gloves are off!
  17. You are of course absolutely correct! And since Steve says in his mail on this site that ",,,,,,,,,,,,,,LLC is not in administration" and also on the LLC website it clearly states that; ".................there is no commitment to purchase and you may cancel or change your reservation at any time prior to despatch," we can all be sure that LLC will be willing to fully refund anyone that doesn't want to await the outcome of this and would just like their money back.
  18. Not quite Joseph With a limited Company: If shares in the company are purchased, all the company’s assets, liabilities and obligations are acquired (even those that a prospective buyer may not be aware of). However, when only the assets are purchased, then only the assets (and liabilities) which the buyer agrees to purchase – and which are identified in the sale agreement – are acquired Anyway Let's see what happens.
  19. Nothing at all! Its a suggestion, not an accusation!
  20. Given that LLC clearly owe lots of people a considerable sum of money (including me for £1106.99 - 2 Class 22s plus postage), perhaps Steve should seriously consider giving the business to a suitable manufacturer, on the understanding that they at least would honour his commitments, rather than trying to sell the business and make money on the deal! I understand that he is not personally able to continue with the business himself, but he should show some honour in this!
