  1. Dear Fred,

    it seems to me that Mr. Heinen wanted to built a Baden State Railway Class IId in DRG Livery.

    Probably IId Nr. 745 would have been DRG 14 451, but it was scrapped before being renumbered.

      I agree, I did find that info also, but they still do not compare completely :

      Yes, due to the use of Fleischmann parts of the time. Wrong Wheels, wrong tender...

      But at least the body of the engine is pretty close to the prototype. A removal of the high coal bunker combined with wheels and outside gear of Liliput bad. IVh/BR 18.3 (and a new scratchbuild frame?) will make a very nice model of this IMHO most beautiful german engine (o.k. the smokestack of the second batch is nicknamed "flowerpot"  and rather ugly..)
