    All pickups are good. And this is the normal decoder from Hornby. No TTS in this one. Now, I’ve hear a rumour putting weight inside may help? Any suggestions on this?

    hi i have a Hornby railroad class 08 stalling on electrofrog points, it did this on insulfrog as well. i cant seem to win with this loco. is best to get rid and get a proper class 08 (not railroad) lol thanks in advance

    I see. I only have the wired controller. I spoke with roco and it’s impossible on the wired controller.

    I have a roco multimaus and reading the instructions I can only use 20 functions on a sound decoder. I have sound decoder that has 24 functions...is there anyway I can get to the other 4 lol. Thanks in advance

    Hi. I have a class 128 and have installed a 21 pin dcc socket which will convert to take a 8 pin decoder. I have installed the 8 pin decoder and the loco works lovely. But only the headcode works in either direction. The cab lights do not come on...I have noticed on the 8 pin decoder there is a loose purple wire, would this be the reason?

    To be honest chaps, this is the second time this has happened. I feel like paying the extra £60 or so at YouChoos or digitrax! These TTS decoders seem to be very temperamental sometimes! I will be emailing them though just to make sure they know. Thanks chaps

    Hi all, I have a TTS decoder. The decoder is working the train very well, and very smooth. But there is no sound when I press F1. So I decided to buy a new speaker, I connected it up, put back on track and still no sound. So I reset the decoder on CV8 and then reinstalled the loco back into the controller. Still nothing, I then reset CV8 but pressed 5 like the manual says to reset sounds...nothing! All connections seem ok...what is the issue??? Decoder works...two speakers and no sound lol....

    Thank you guys! I bent the pins in decoder the opposite direction of pushing and it works fine now. I think once it was in normal it didn’t touch the pin properly!

    Hi, I have a TTS decoder which works fine in other locos. I install it into my J50 and to get it to work I have to push it down and over to the side, as soon as I let go, it stops working!! Any ideas? Any workarounds at all? Thanks in advance

    The loco has 6 pin, I want to know how to put a 8 pin into the loco, not remove an 8 pin decoder. I don’t know how or if it can be done! Thank you for you kind reply

    So, a silly question lol. I have a 6 pin dcc loco, but have a 8 pin decoder, is there anyway of fitting it to the loco? Is there some sort of item to convert it like there is for 21pin decoders. I have a 21pin loco, with a 8 pin decoder Installed via a socket adapter. Any advice greatly appreciated

    Just tried that Ray, no luck. Could I set them to different addresses? One 6 and one 7? If I change the CV29 value, what do I change it to?
