N gauge Backscene short video. Just wanted to show you some pics of the backscene I made. Using printed images from Google, cutting them out and sticking to a sky blue background. I am trying to get the 3D effect I suppose.
This backscene is what the public will see, I have not built the other side yet. This will be in the next upload.
I have taken some of the pics with some of my trains in the scene. Just to give you an experience of what it will look like if you were a spectator.
Just a small update on what has been going on with the Heritage Line.
i have added a strobe light to engine shed to give the welding effect on the loco. plus a candle light from poundland i have added under a hut to give a fire place effect.
people have been added plus a car park and cars.
adding little bits and bobs now, like grass tufts weeds and some fencing.
soon i will have a running session based one diesel gala day. as it is a heritage line, i can run what i like, and as i have have more diesel than steam, this is why i have decided to go with the dirty engines lol.
The class 27 bringing in two LMS coaches to collect the visiting public. Taking them on a journey up the heritage line to the next heritage station.
The class 14 is shunting a few wagons in to place to show the visiting public how sidings were used and the process of shunting and uncoupling.
Two class 08s are seen in the still images as is a Jinty in the loco shed.
I have also added some pics of the old advertising signs I have added to the scenery. These were printed off the Internet, weathered with soft pastels and glued on with pritt stick. I again used the soft pastels to make rusty marks running down the wall from the old signs.
The signs look old and weathered because the layout is set in present day, but the station was in use during the 1930s up until the 1980s.
