After you had the LMS 2-6-0+0-6-2 Beyer Garratt in OO Gauge - is there any chance you do this beast in O Gauge in the future?
Or else the LNER 2-8-0+0-8-2 Beyer Garratt matching your current A3 and A4 model developments?

ESU 'L' Decoder which is a plug in fit for this loco is in stock and available. Charlie-Legomanbiffo-Wheeltappers Steam Sounds
Mmmh - no answer here, no response on 2 emails. Is that a 'prevention of turnover' program?Do you supply the ‘L‘ decoder with sound as well?
A short answer like "We don't sell to Germany" would have been nice...

At your website I could only find prices of the normal ESU Loksound decoder I assume(£110 and £115). Do you supply the ‘L‘ decoder with sound as well?ESU 'L' Decoder which is a plug in fit for this loco is in stock and available. Charlie-Legomanbiffo-Wheeltappers Steam Sounds
As you don't have a GWR Prairie sound, would you recommend another sound?
(SWD Manor or Wheeltappers Collett Goods perhaps?)
The chuff sounds maybe quite similar but do they have dual whistle sounds?

Thanks, Frank

... In the background is Neil Parkhouse's excellent book "The Forest of Dean Railways and the Severn Railway Bridge" published by Lightmoor Press. It contains many pictures of 57XX/8750, 64XX and 16XX panniers in various states of filthiness in 1960s.
Dear Chris,
I received my copy of Neil Parkhouse's book "The Forest of Dean Railways and the Severn Railway Bridge" yesterday. As you wrote, it's an excellent book with lots of magnificent colour pictures. Again this was a very useful recommendation of yours. I have to say - all of your book recommendations are so great, I bought nearly every recommended one!
On top of that (because I'm just writing ) I read your whole CWM Bach and Tonfanau Camp threads with great interest and would like to thank you for awesome photographs and terrific craftmanship from which I draw lots of suggestions for my emerging Welsh themed (what else?) layout...

Has anyone bought the BR lined green 64XX? Does it have the curved transition from cab to bunker - there are a few retailers photos up showing 6439 with the right angle join which I thought was the 74XX cab?
Yes, I have. Arrived just today. Have a look at the pictures. It's not the curved transition you asked for but that's totally correct for the chosen No. 6439. The angled style was introduced with Nos. 6430-39 and 7400-49.
